Visa and MasterCard have designed programs to accommodate those merchants that handle small transaction amounts, counter sales and high-volume, through their “SpeedPay” program. Through the card reader these transactions are merely waved by the consumer at the point of sale, with no signatures required for transactions under $25.

This speedpay reader provides breakthrough technology that allows consumers to make contactless payments with RF-enabled credit or debit card in various form factors or NFC enabled mobile phones at existing point of sale (POS) systems.

Using a contactless payment solution, consumers will be able to quickly move through check-out lines simply by waving their contactless cards or by pointing and clicking their mobile phones.

The ViVOpay™ line of contactless readers enable existing POS and ECR systems to accept MasterCard PayPass™, Visa contactless, ExpressPay from American ExpressSM and Discover contactless cards and fobs without major implementation costs.
